1176 +/- Acres
Irrigated Farm
Zavala County
1176 +/- acre irrigated farm. This farm has three electric Carrizo irrigation wells each pumping 1200 gallons per minute with 200 HP motors. All three of the wells have been completely worked over. There are six Renke brand pivots which are approximately three years old with four covering 100 acres each and two cover 200 acres each. Approximately half of farm is in Tifton with the balance in small grain crops. There are two barns one which can be used as a packing shed. Cattle pens with a Rice Lake scale that can weigh up to 20,000 pounds has capacity which will hold up to 1,500 head. The entire farm is completely high fenced with cross fences, and four tanks two stocked with fish. An added bonus is the outstanding dove hunting.

This farm has the ability to run up to 400 cows the year round with outstanding soil that will grow just about anything. At one time it was known to produce more onions than any other farm in the area. The irrigation wells are outstanding. The owner has constructed underground pipeline connecting all three wells together. If one well were to have a problem the other wells could furnish water to that wells pivot system. I cannot say enough about the amount of water that is available the year around from this irrigation setup. The Carrizo aquifer does not have restrictions as to the amount of water that you can pump. The owners are full time cattle men. The new owner can produce whatever he prefers to grow.
